Jennifer Tetrick

Jennifer Tetrick is honored to serve at Rest Stop Ministries, where she embodies resilience, hope, and the transformative power of healing. As a survivor of child sexual abuse, domestic violence, and sexual exploitation, Jennifer’s journey is a testament to the possibility of overcoming trauma and embracing a triumphant life.

For over 25 years, her faith has been the foundation of her healing and purpose. She actively volunteers with nonprofits that minister to women in need, helping them discover God’s love, their intrinsic value, and a renewed sense of purpose. She is deeply committed to trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and strength-based approaches to survivor care, ensuring that every woman she supports is met with dignity and compassion.

Jennifer brings over 11 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant specializing in women’s healthcare, along with seven years in emergency room care. She has also served with Whispers of Hope, an outreach supporting women still working in the sex industry. These experiences have uniquely equipped her to address the immediate, transitional, and long-term needs of survivors of sex trafficking.

As a Survivor Care Coordinator at Rest Stop Ministries, Jennifer walks alongside women on their journey of post-traumatic growth. She helps them develop and implement personal goals that foster strength, new opportunities, spiritual growth, and meaningful relationships.

Jennifer and her husband, Hal, have been together for over 23 years and currently reside in Hendersonville, Tennessee. They are proud parents to four adult children, grandparents to nine, and great-grandparents to one—along with their beloved, sassy dog.

With a heart for advocacy, Jennifer hopes to bridge the gap between the church and survivor healing, working toward full integration, restoration, and freedom for all women.
