What We Do

Rest Stop Ministries is Tennessee’s first long-term care community with 24/7 staff support uniquely designed to restore adult female survivors of domestic sex trafficking.  Our residential restoration program opened November 2015, and has grown into a strong evidence-informed program with 3 distinct pillars:

1. Residential Restoration: Providing long-term (18 – 24 months) comprehensive trauma-informed, holistic services in a healing community with 24/7 staff support and 7 beds at no cost for survivors. Safe housing and a total-therapeutic environment are the first steps to healing.

2. Good Hope Farms: Hope Enterprise & Workforce Empowerment is our job readiness and paid, hands-on job skills certification that runs concurrently with the residential restoration. Economic independence is the key to ending the cycle of abuse and exploitation.

3. Alumni Aftercare: Empowering transition success by offering a Transitional Apartment with 2 beds, while aiding in finding safe and affordable housing. During a full year after graduation, we offer ongoing therapy, case management, and housing subsidies, as well as a lifelong community and support through retreats, groups, and other gatherings.
